2. Information we collect
When you make an enquiry, we may collect your name, organisation, work email address, the topic you would like to discuss and the context you choose to provide. Please do not submit passwords, authentication codes or unnecessary sensitive information through the enquiry form.
The hosting platform may also process limited technical information required to serve and protect the website, such as request information, device or browser details, IP address and security logs.

4. How information is protected
Infotech applies reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. No internet transmission or information system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use the enquiry channel only for the limited business information needed to start a discussion.
5. Sharing and service providers
Personal information is not sold. It may be disclosed to hosting, communication, security or professional service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate the website, respond to the enquiry, deliver a requested service or meet a legal obligation. Providers are expected to process information for the relevant purpose and with appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, a legitimate business requirement, a contractual requirement or an applicable legal obligation. Information that is no longer required will be deleted, de-identified or securely disposed of where reasonably practicable.
7. Your POPIA rights
Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may ask whether Infotech holds personal information about you and request access to it. You may also request correction or deletion of information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or unlawfully obtained, or object to certain processing where applicable. Infotech may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
Requests may be sent to info@techit.co.za. You may also raise a concern with South Africa’s Information Regulator if you believe your personal information has been processed contrary to POPIA.

The website does not intentionally set non-essential analytics or marketing cookies. The hosting platform may use strictly necessary technologies and technical logs to deliver, secure and maintain the service.
9. Cross-border processing and hosting
The website and supporting service providers may use infrastructure located outside South Africa. Where personal information is processed across borders, Infotech will seek to use providers and arrangements that offer protection appropriate to the information and consistent with applicable POPIA requirements.
